We have a simple goal in therapy; making change to make life better. As a therapist my role is to help you identify needed changes and give tools to bring about change. It can be a toxic relationship, an unrewarding career, feeling stuck, emptiness in your life, or dealing with loss.
We all have stress, painful feelings and experiences that interfere with our sense of well-being. We are limited by negative emotions that make it harder to accomplish things that would make our lives richer and more secure. I’m here to help and look forward to meeting with you offering a unique blend of Psychotherapy, Life-Coaching, and Wellness.
Together we will explore underlying causes of the problem and work in the present to examine the issues, cope with feelings, and change behavior patterns. I believe in the therapist-client alliance to help you feel comfortable and connected while creating a safe environment for you to learn, grow and deal with life’s challenges. You will receive support in gaining insights into your relationships, obtaining a more positive attitude in life, getting unstuck and moving forward.
Therapy is beneficial whether you are having short-term conflicts related to stress and crisis, or more significant emotional struggles that may take longer to address. We will create a better life balance, maximize your strengths and abilities, and achieve psychological resilience.
My personal and professional traits that clients value in my practice are empathy, acceptance, experience, patience, confidentiality and trust. I listen, question, and play an active role in our work together.
My areas of specialization and focus include: Couples Counseling, Individual Psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, Family Therapy, and Bereavement Counseling. RELATIONSHIPS are explored and challenged within all these areas of treatment.
